I learned of Dr. Tefertiller when I was a UF student in 1962-1967. I learned more of him when I worked for Farm Credit of North Florida. But I got to know him even a little more when he would visit the Trenton Rotary Club with his friend Lowell. He will be missed. May God's Comfort be yours as you walk through your loss. (Matt. 5:4)

Dr. T was very important part of our life and meant a lot to our family. He gave my mom (Gwynn Smith) the opporuntity to grow and progress as Dr. T. did. Starting in 1965 from Ag Eco all the way when he was appointed VP, for over 23 years, Dr. T. was the key ingredient to my Mom's professional career. Later remained our great family friend and I will never forget him.
Dr. T was also a wonderful christian and I am sure that the Lord when calling him home is saying "well done my faithful servant".
My prayers are with Mrs. T and the kids.
God Bless
John

Tefertiller Family -
Our prayers are with you. Though we did not know "President" Tefertiller as well as we had hoped to, we see by his accomplishments that we missed much by meeting him so late in life. We will miss his visits and his quiet presence.
