Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Whiteville Baptist church with the Rev. Carl White and the Rev. Wilbur Depriest officiating.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller Funeral Home. Burial will be at Gassville Cemetery.
Mr. Lonon was born on Sept 22, 1909 at Mountain Home and was a lifetime area resident. He was a member fo the Whiteville Baptist Church and served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Elsie Megee on March 16, 1943, at Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, of Russellville; a brother, Lon Lonon of Mountain Home; three grandchildren; one nephew and one niece.
Both parents, William Powell and Allie Jane Jones Lonon preceded him in death.
