James "Trey" Abbott III, 43, Bardstown, died Wednesday, Feb 27, 2008. at his residence. He was born June 4, 1964, in New Orleans. He was a graduate of John F Kennedy High School and was formerly self-employed in floor installation. He was a Katrina survivor and a member of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ernest Abbott, II. Survivors include his wife Helen Edelen Abbott; his mother, Delores Savona, Marrero, LA; his stepfather, C.J. Savona, Marrero, LA; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was chosen with a memorial service to be at a later date in Louisiana. Expressions of sympathy may take form of contributions to the family of James Abbott, III, in care of Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home, 212 S Third Street, Bardstown, KY 40004. Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
