Mrs. Rubie S. Ettinger, 90, formerly of 3140 Highland St., Allentown, died Sunday in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the widow of Paul C. Ettinger.
Born in Green Lane, she was daughter of the late William and Amanda (Swartz) Weber.
She was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown.
Surviving are a son, Paul Frederick of Allentown; two sisters, Bertha, wife of Rev. Cornelius Vlot of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Mrs. Doris LeVan of Atlanta Ga.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Charles E., in 1978.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown. There will be no calling hours. The Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., is in charge of arrangements.
Rubie and Paul were married in Allentown on May 21, 1919. Her parents on the marriage license application were William and Amanda (nee Swartz) Weber. Her father William was a cement contrator. Born in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, she lived at her parents' home at 131 W. Jefferson in Allentown at the time of her marriage.
