She resided with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. Wilson in their home in the West End, and was taken to the hospital a few days ago where she underwent an operation for gall stones. The deceased was born March 12, 1850, near Rivesville, and she was the daughter of the late John Cunningham Hoult and Susanna Barr Hoult early settlers of Marion County. She has two brothers deceased, Thomas and Scott Hoult, and a sister, Susan Straight, of Mannington, is also deceased. Surviving are two half-sisters, Rose and Elizabeth Hoult, of Stockton, Cal., and a half-sister, Margaret Hoult, is deceased. Brothers departed are David, William and Frank Hoult.

Mrs. Toothman was the widow of Thornton J. Toothman. The surviving children are Harry S. Toothman, of Mt. Clare; Omer S. Toothman, of Watson; Mrs. Fred M. Wilson, of this city. There are three grandchildren living and one grandchild, Kenneth Toothman, died overseas in the World War. There are eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Toothman was a devout member of the Methodist Protestant Church of Watson and took an active part in the work of the church. She was active in the various organizations for many years and was popular among the members.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wilson residence in the West End with the Rev. W. R.
