Hubert Howard Joyce was the oldest surviving child of Sanford Riley and Bertie Mae (Chambers) Joyce. He was the husband of 1) Gladys Mildred Brown (1917 - 1982) and 2) Helen Pauline Callahan. He had three children.
With Gladys: Raymond Howard "R. H." Joyce (b. 1938) and Jeanette (Joyce) Walker-Roberts (b. 1942)
Wife Helen: Helena Gail (Joyce) Partell (b. 1953)
Hubert was in WW2 and lived in Greenup, KY.
He was my Great Uncle.

Greenup -- Hubert H. Joyce, 51, of 2400 Ashalnd Rd., Greenup, died at 7:25 am today in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Joyce was born May 3, 1917, in Trigg County, KY, a son of the late Sanford and Bertie Chambers Joyce.
He was employeed in the shipping department of Armco Steel Corp., was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and served with the US Coast Guard during World War II. He had been a resident of Greenup for 13 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pauline Callihan Joyce; a sob, Raymond Howard Joyce of Murray; two daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Walker of Paducah and Miss Gail Joyce, at home; two broithers, D. F. Joyce and V. E Joyce, both of Paducah; three sisters, Mrs. Naomi Copeland, Mrs. Clay Brown and Mrs. Nina Ray Sumner, all of Paducah; and three grandchildren.
The body is at J. B. Wright Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
