Margaret and John M. Floyd were married around 1883 in S.C. They had two children: John M. and David Vant. Around 1836, they moved to Alabama. They had four children: Lucinda M.E., Richard A., Anderson F., and Hiram H.C. In 1845, the family moved to the Boggs Chapel community in Tishomingo County MS. They had two more children: Robert H. and Eliza Caroline.

Margaret is my ggg grandma. She had six sons of which five fought in the Civil War. She lost one to the war, my gg grandpa,Richard A. Her heartache must have been tremendous. -
