Mrs. Glenn B. Van Riper
Faye C. Van Riper, 81, Wesley Manor, died Saturday at Hutchinson Hospital. Born Faye C. Secrest, Aug. 20, 1898, at Arlington, she married Glenn B. Van Riper Oct. 9, 1918, at Wichita.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, North Reno EHU, both of Hutchinson.
Survivors: widower, of the home; son: Leon, Nickerson; daughters: Mrs. Esther Stuart, Nickerson; Mrs. Wilma Jean Pennick, 2200 West 17th; brothers: James Secrest, 514 East 10th; Ralph Secrest, Nickerson; sister: Mrs. Mary Ellen Gerard, Everett, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel; the Rev. Will Glaser. Burial will be at Lerado Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
Faye Van Riper was the third child of William Albert and Paulina Secrest. She married Glenn Van Riper on October 9, 1918. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Louella Faye Van Riper.
