CHUDEK, John, age 71, formerly of 114 Grand Ave., Bellingham, passed away in a Bellingham nursing home on Thurs. Aug 13, 1981. Born [June 23, 1910] in Czechoslovakia, Mr. Chudek moved with his parents to the Whatcom County area at the age of 2. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bellingham and is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Anne Scheffer of Lynden, Mrs. Justina Rasmussen of Kirkland and Miss Amelia Chudek of Bellingham and numerous nieces & nephews. He was also preceded by his parents and a brother Carl. Graveside services will be conducted on Sat. Aug. 15 at 11 a.m. in the Nooksack Cemetery with Rev. Carl O. Fischer officiating. Services are under the direction of the Gillies Funeral Home, Lynden.
