Margaret was the daughter of James and Martha Jenkins. In 1850, they were living in Wayne Township, Marion County, Indiana. At that time, Margaret was one of 6 children. The oldest, Mary, was born in Kentucky. The rest were born in Indiana. They were Sarah, Martha, Malissa and John.
In the 1860 Census, they were still in Wayne Township. Margaret and her sister Melisse were the only two children still living at home.
On April 10, 1864, she married William Frazee in Marion County, Indiana. She moved to Smootsdell (now Avon), Hendricks County with her new husband. By 1870, they had two children, sons Alvah and Otis.
They added a daugther named Minnie in July 1879. In 1880, others living with them were two servants, Angeline Menefee and Milton Bellas, and William's mother, Lydia.
In 1900, the census record indicated that Margaret had five children of whom four were living at the time. They had a son, Charles, born September 1885, who was living with them. They also had three servants, Cornelia Shepherd, Jasper Shepherd, and William Webb.
Living next door to them was their daughter, Minnie, with her husband, Everett Whitmire.
In 1910, Margaret and her son, Charles, were living with Minnie and her husband.
