Vernon Lyle Klinger, 111, devoted father, husband, son, brother, grand¬son and friend, has gone to live with Heavenly Father after struggling many years with a debilitating illness. He will be greatly missed by many loved ones, his wife. Halceyn* and five month old son, Dalton Larsen.
Vernon was a proud and patriotic military veteran, having served years as a Green Beret. He also served an LOS Mission to the Wisconsin Thai Speaking Mission. Vemon was highly intelligent and loved research. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Cartography and Master** Degree in Geography from 8YU, He also held an Associates Degree in drafting. He deeply loved the gospel and sup¬ported the Church and his family with devotion and love,
Vernon is survived by his wife, Hal-ceyn, son Dalton, mother Brenda Dalton Morris and stepfather Ray¬mond Morris, father Vernon Lyle Kiin¬ger, Jr. and stepmother Judy Klinger, sister and her husband, Kimberly and James M, Evans, and grandmother. Dee Callahan.
He was preceded In death by his grandparents, Edward A. and Virginia Dalton, Vernon Lyle Kiinger, and uncle leggie Dalton.
The family requests, in lieu of flow¬ers, that contributions be made to the Dalton Klinger College Fund c/o of the Jordan Credit Union, 9260 So 300 East, Sandy, UT» 84091.
Funeral services will be held on Sat Mar 8, 2003 at 11:00 am. in the Tooele 3rd IDS Ward 141 West Utah Ave, where friends may call from 9:30-10:30 am, prior to the service. Interment in the Tooele City Cemetery under the direction of Tate Mortuary,
