"Miss Lillie Elliott"
"Miss Lillie Elliott, 65, of Des Moines, the youngest sister of Mrs. C. M. Hubbard and Charles Elliott of this place, passed away Sunday evening at 9 o'clock. Funeral services were held from the home in which she lived with her sister, Miss Rosa, this [Wednesday] morning, and the body brought by motor to Rockford for burial. The service was held here at the grave at 3 o'clock, being in charge of Rev. W. S. Harries of Des Moines, who until recently had been pastor of the Highland Park Presbyteran church, of which Miss Elliott had been for many years a member. Those attending the service from a distance were Miss Rosa Elliott and Mrs. A. H. Osburn of Des Moines and H. D. Webb of Postville. Miss Elliott was born in a farm north of Rudd, later moving to the old home north of Rockford, where she lived until 1913, when with her sister she moved to Des Moines where she lived until the time of her death.
