Son of William and Sarah (Hilton) Piggott.

A Spanish war veteran and former private in Co. L, 8th regiment, Massachusetts Infantry and a resident of North Tewksbury for the past 15 years, died this morning at the Soldiers Home hospital in Chelsea. He was a member of General Adlebert Ames camp, No. 19, United Spanish War veterans. He was the son of William and Sarah Hilton Piggott, and was born in Waverly, Iowa, in 1856.

Mr. Piggott was an expert woolen weaver by trade. Surviving him are the following nieces and nephews: Florence Ethel Gray of New York City, Mrs. Marion G. Clark, Tenanis Harbor, Me; Daniel E. Gray of Boston, Roland H. Gray of Decatur, Ala.; Mrs. Arvilla Cole of Brattleboro, Vt.; Mrs. Robert Noordwyn of Montreal, Canada; Clayton Piggott of Philadelphia, Pa; Alvin Fisher of Natick, Frederick Fisher of Portland, Ore.; Milton Fisher of Framingham and Guy B. Gray of North Tewksbury, with whom he made his home.

The body was removed to the White & Roy chapel, 236 Westford street, where friends may call this evening.
