He was an only child of Cora Luella Armour & Francis Marion [Frank P] Triplett. Born in El Dara, Pike County, Illinois; he and his parents eventually moved to Centerville, Wilkinson County, Mississippi before 1918 to take up a large parcel of land on which during WWII an Army Training camp was established. He lost his first wife, Elizabeth Jeannette Grubb Triplett with the birth of my mother. My grandfather was a mechanic for the Proprietors of the Boardwalk in Wildwood New, Jersey until the time of his death. He was very tall, approximately 6' 7" tall, and I have been informed that it took a special made coffin in which to bury his body.
