A personal story about George — I spent my growing up years going to the same church, Danville Calvary Church of the Nazarene, where George was very active. I believe part of that time he was the Sunday School Superintendent. When I was 10, I had a critical accident and it was questionable whether or not I would make it. My mom told me many years later that my first Sunday back at church, George cried. It still touches my heart to think of that.

God so loved the world,
He gave His only Son
that whoever believes
in him, shall not perish
but have eternal life.
