OSCAR O. COWEN
Oscar O. (Pete) Cowen, 49, who moved from Lafayette to Knox 15 years ago, died unexpectedly at 10 a.m. Wednesday in his home there following a heart attack.
He grew up in the Lafayette area and was graduated from Klondike High School. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Surviving with the widow, Alberta, are a daughter, Laurie, and four sons, Oscar, David, Raymond and John, all at home; six brothers, John of Lafayette, George of Valparaiso, Ted and Elmer of Kouts, Dee of Knox and Raymond of Ockley, and a sister, Mrs. Sally Fletcher of Knox.
Service and interment will be at Knox.
