Preceded in death by father and mother, Charles and Clara Blomberg; brother, Alvin Handt; sisters, Ethel Baldwin and Alice Orbke. Survived by wife, Julie; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A graduate of St. Paul Washington HS. Navy veteran. Wayne's true character was shown in his struggle with Parkinson's. He never complained, but remained grateful for all that was done for him. Memorial service 11AM Monday at LIVING WORD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4300 Nicols Rd, Eagan. Memorials preferred to Living Word Academy, Eagan; "Rebuilders" at Normandale Baptist Church, Bloomington; or any veterans group of donor's choice.
