Jim was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 19th, 1933, son of the late James Ernest and Vera Stallins Caudle. Jim was a police officer in various states for more that 32 years, he was also a AAA baseball player for 13 years, and he wrote and played country music and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the Cumberland Baptist Church.
Jim was survived by his loving wife, Bernice Begley Caudle; five children, Stanley G. (and Sandra) Caudle, David D. (and Susan) Caudle, Carolyn D. McKenney, Teddy G. (and Marsha) Woods, and Patricia K. (and Jeff) Henderson; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ernest and Vera Stallins Caudle; and one son, William Martin Caudle.
Visitations were held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 2nd, 2009 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Ridner officiating.
Burial followed in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
