James "Jim" Caudle, 76 years of age, departed this life on Monday, September 28th, 2009.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 19th, 1933, son of the late James Ernest and Vera Stallins Caudle. Jim was a police officer in various states for more that 32 years, he was also a AAA baseball player for 13 years, and he wrote and played country music and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the Cumberland Baptist Church.
He was survived by his wife, Bernice Begley Caudle; five children, Stanley G. (and Sandra) Caudle of Georgia, David D. (and Susan) Caudle of Florida, Carolyn D. McKenney of Alabama, Teddy G. (and Marsha) Woods and Patricia K. (and Jeff) Henderson, all of Kentucky; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ernest and Vera Stallins Caudle; and one son, William Martin Caudle.
Visitations were held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 2nd, 2009 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Ridner officiating.
Burial followed in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
