Ardyce Erma Johnson was born on July 17, 1934 at her parents, Harold and Erma (Knutson) Johnson, farm home in Redwood County, MN.
She was united in marriage to Harlan Solseth on August 25, 1956 in Milroy, MN. Harlan and Ardyce moved to Wadena in 1963. Ardyce was employed by Sears Roebuck Co. for 28 years. She later worked at the AmericInn, Four Seasons Motel and Wadena Floral.
Ardyce was also very active in her church as a Sunday School teacher, ICW officer, Church Council, Rotary Serving Group, quilting, Altar Circle and choir member. She was also a member of the Hopeful Homemakers and the VFW Women's Auxiliary.
Ardyce was preceded in death by her father, Harold, and her husband, Harlan, on May 28, 1991.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam and Colleen; grandchildren Jordan, Rebecca, Andrew and Christopher; her mother, Erma Johnson Nelson; sister, Joyce; brothers, Merton, Ken and Allen. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sandra; special aunt and uncle, Alice and Peter Verdeck and several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
