Birth: Nov. 8, 1954

San Diego County
California, USA
Death: Oct. 10, 2002
Washington County
Arkansas, USA

Karen was the daughter of Ida Belle (Rogers) Clayton O'Brien and granddaughter of Cora Mae (Roberts) Rogers and Loyd Franklin Rogers. She grew up near San Diego, California with her two sisters. Her father served in the military. Karen married Joe Davis from Chickasha, Oklahoma with whom she had a beautiful boy. They later divorced and Karine moved to Dallas, Texas where she worked for Chilton. In the early 1980's she moved to northwestern Arkansas to be near her grandmother, mother, and sister Cheryl. She married/divorced Robt. Wolgast.

Karine was empathetic, impulsive, and gregarious. She loved good conversation, fresh flowers (in her hair), fast convertibles, and men with strong arms. She was generous to a fault. She wore out Fleetwood Mac albums, was fond of wearing purple, and told hilarious stories. She unfortunately wrestled with personal demons and lost a few battles. How sad that her time was cut short.

She wanted the best for her beloved son. Though often apart, it was Joe she held closest to her heart. Karine spoke of him often.

After 5 years of my aunt passing I just found this and it really bothers me that the family didn't know about this online thing for her. Whoever put this on here please send me a comment back so I can know who it is.
