Craigmont – Mrs. Edith A. Crawford, 67, a resident of the Winchester – Craigmont area for the last 35 years, died at 11 am Saturday at the Lewiston Manor nursing home.
She had been ill for about four years. Death was attributed to cancer.
Mrs. Crawford, the former Edith A. Stephens, was born Sept. 30, 1897, at Washburn, Mo. She moved with her parents to the Gifford area in 1902. In 1908 they moved to Lenore where she lived until 1929. She married James Crawford of Winchester on Oct. 12, 1929.
Mrs. Crawford was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband James of Craigmont; one sister, Mrs. Floyd Vert of New Plymouth; and five brothers, William (Montie) Stephens, Winchester; Leon and Eugene Stephens, both of Lewiston; Floyd Stephens, San Francisco, Calif., and Joseph Stephens, Lakeside, Ore.
Burial will be at the Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens, Lewiston.
Clovis Mortuary of Craigmont is in charge of arrangements.
