Louis John Mitchell

Louis John Mitchell, 65, passed away January 27, 2012 at home. Born in Plainfield, he was a lifelong resident of Middlesex. Louis proudly served an enlistment in the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed with UMDNJ in Piscataway. Louis was a member of the Middlesex & Piscataway Elks, the Dunellen VFW and the Middlesex American Legion.
Surviving are his sister Barbara Zimmerman and her husband Bruce of Bel Air, MD; his nephew Eric Zimmerman and his wife Sue; his niece Heather Dean and her husband Brett; his three great nieces & nephews; his aunt Margaret Baringer Davis and many close friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Rd., Middlesex, NJ 08846. Graveside services will be held Thursday 11:00 am at the Cloverleaf Cemetery in Woodbridge.
