ABERDEEN - Services for Jessie Pace Cochran, 82, who died Monday, April 16 at her residence in Aberdeen, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19 in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Aberdeen Chapel with Bro. Ferman Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Tranquil Cemetery.
Mrs. Cochran was born in Monroe County and lived most of her life in Memphis. She graduated from Aberdeen High School and Memphis State University. She retired in 1991 as a registered nurse at Baptist Memorial-St. Joseph Hospital and was a member of Belleview Baptist Church.
She leaves a son, Mickey B. Cochran of Lake City, Florida; three sisters, Jackie Grubbs and Frances Holley of Aberdeen and Ruth Adams of Alexandria, Louisiana; a brother, William L. Pace of Biloxi and a grandchild, Taryn Cochran of Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jack Pierce; second husband, Sam Cochran; two brothers, Allen Pace and Valmon Pace.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Pace, Steve Gill, Jerry Leach, Richard Gill and Jeff Grubbs.
Visitation will take place from 12-noon until time for services, Thursday, April 19th at the funeral home.
