Dena had been a resident of Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for the last few years.
Dena had cerebral palsy.

Dena Ren Francis was born July 13, 1959, in Springfield, MO, and entered into eternal rest on December 22, 2009, at the age of 50 years.
Dena attended Springfield Public Schools; she then went to work at Springfield Workshop for 28 years.
Dena accepted Jesus as her Savior at an early age, and was baptized into the Baptist faith.
Dena was a very loving person and was loved by most people she met. Dena's secret to a great life was reading the Bible through 30 times.
Dena is survived by her parents, Roy and Mary Francis; and by aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Loy Ivan Francis and Dan Roy Francis.
Funeral services will be December, 26, 2009, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service.
