The funeral for Janet Carole Hall will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hermiston with vault internment at the Hermiston Cemetery.
Mrs. Hall, 65, of Hermiston died Wednesday, Nov.22, 2000 at her home.
She was born Feb. 4, 1935, at Burley, Idaho, to Arthur Joseph and Delphia Deane Lee Nelson. She grew up at Burley, and attended school there.
She was married to Leon Alvin Fenstermaker. The couple had three children.
On May 25, 1964, she married Donald C. Hall at Lewiston, Idaho.
Mrs. Hall was a housewife and mother before moving to Hermiston in 1970. She worked at the Caravan in Hermiston for 13 years and as a cook at the Last Chance Tavern in Hermiston for 14 years until her retirement in 1999, at 64.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and mostly being with family and friends.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include her husband, Donald of Hermiston; son Michael Leon Fenstermaker of Kobe, Japan; daughters, Terry Jones and Debra Fricke, both of Hermiston; stepson, Donald G. Hall of Umatilla; stepdaughter, Rhonda Terry of Forest Grove; brother, Leland Nelson of Hermiston; sisters, Marla Zickgraff of Provo, Utah, Shelda Zander of Pomeroy, Wash., Diane Little of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Gail Ellis of Milwaukie, Ore.; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, Disabled Veterans or Red Cross.
Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of arrangements.
