!!Murder Victim!! Arthur, called A.J. by family and friends, was 10 years old when he died. He was a 5th grader at Oliver Wendel Holmes school in Chicago, Illinois. A.J. was a honor student who loved professional wrestling, model cars and basketball. He loved to play video games and ride his bike. He was described by neighbors as a very polite, happy kid who had a "million dollar smile" and loved to cook.
A.J. faithfully attended Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. His ambition was to be a preacher and he was affectionately called "Pastor A.J."
On October 17,2007, A.J. and his best friend were on their way to a store to buy candy when he was caught in the crossfire of two rival gangs.
A.J. leaves his parents Rita and Eric and 8 brothers and sisters and many relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
