He made his debut in "International Squadron" (1941) and was best remembered for appearing in a variety of thriller films of the 1940s. His credits include "Casablanca" (1942), "Mrs. Miniver" (1942), "Passage to Marseilles" (1943), "Mission to Moscow" (1943), "Thundering Jets" (1958) and "The Killer Elite" (1975).
