For feature films he probably was best known for his portrayal as Pancho in the early "Cisco Kid" movies. His other credits included "Casablanca" (1942), "The Gay Cavalier" (1946), "The Feathered Serpent" (1948), "The Ring" (1952), "The Left Handed Gun" (1958) and "Lonely Are the Brave" (1962). His many television credits include "Sugarfoot", "Rawhide", "The Fugitive", "I Spy" and "High Chaparral". He died at age 86 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California.
