Mrs. Harden died at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday at her residence.
She was born Jam. 15, 1922 in Wood County to John W. and Mary (Collins) Brumbaugh. She also was the foster daughter of Cloyd and Ruth Grubb. She married F. Paul "Pete" Harden on Dec. 10, 1949, and he died June 30, 1990.
Surviving are two sons, William E. of Jenera; John P. of Bowling Green; a daughter, Mrs. Ed (LuAnn) McMonigal, Alvada; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Lucille Traucht, Rawson.
Mrs. Harden formerly worked at Triplett Electric, Bluffton. She also worked at the former McComb Consolidated Airport.
She was a 1941 graduate of McComb High School and member of the McComb Alumni Breakfast Club. She was a past adviser of the Clover Blossoms 4-H Club and a past Girl Scout leader, both in McComb. She also was a past member of the McComb Band Mothers Club and a former member of Pleasant Hill Bible Church, near McComb, where she had taught Bible School classes.
Memorials may be made to the McComb Rescue Squad Auxiliary of to a charity of the donor's choice.
