Clifford was born the son of Albert Josiah and Edna Adele Beeman Crandall on Feb 5, 1884 on Beech Hill, Mayville NY.
Clifford married Inez Webber, daughter of John and Kate Johnston Webber on August 23, 1912 in the Town of Chautauqua.
They had four sons.
1) Everett E. (1915-1993) m. Joyce Davis
2) Morris Stanley (1923-2008) m. Josephine Margaret James
3) Vincent Rodger (1928-2001) m. Lenora Casey Mingus
4) Albert John (1932-1949) died in motorcycle accident
Clifford was a member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church in Mayville and a 50 year member of the Chautauqua Grange. He was a retired farmer.
Clifford died unexpectedly on Feb 15th, 1974. he had just celebrated his 90th birthday with a large party attended by family and friends.
