Miss M. Katherine Schoenhals, 87, of Howell died Sunday, July 20, following a long illness.
She was born in Genoa township on December 25, 1870, a daughter of Conrad and Rosanna Baylan Schoenhals. She never married.
She was a graduate of Columbia Universtity and she was a retired teacher. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and a life member of the Eastern Star Chapter in Flint.
She leaves two nephews, a sister-in-law and a number of cousins.
The funeral was Tuesday afternoon from the MacDonald funeral home with the Reverend Dale Stewart of the Presbyterian church officiating. Burial was at Lakeview Cemetery.
