On 4 Nov 69, Capt Stanley I, ADAMS, (Pilot) and 1st L t William 0. SMITH, ( copilot ) were killed.


On November 4, 1969, Captain Stanley L. Adams was killed while piloting an operational mission over South Vietnam.

His F-4C aircraft, lead in a flight of two, was struck by hostile ground fire while making its first napalm pass over the target.
