I feel Gary, Susan, & Donna's pain because their Dad died 6 months to the day of my Dad & in the same hospital.
As irony would have it Mr. Clair's and my Daddy's funerals were in the same funeral home and in the same exact room of that funeral home.

Donald P. Clair, 65, a resident of Clinton Township for more than 30 years, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center, after a prolonged battle with COPD. He was born Dec. 6, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan.
Mr. Clair retired in 1999 from Ameritech/SBC, where he worked as a cable splicer.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his children, Gary Clair, Susan (Dan) Shea and Donna (Jason) Lowes; mother, Gladys; step granddaughter, Mackenzie; siblings, Kathy (Brian) Arrowsmith, Robert, Michael, Patricia, Janet, James (Deborah) Clair and Mary (Ronald) Luketich; and sister-in-law, Lily (Stan) Rutzel.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sharon, whom he never got over losing; his father, Kenneth Clair; and siblings, Nancy Gursky, John Clair and William Clair.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, with the Rev. Gary Morelli officiating.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
