John C. Adison of Medford Lakes went home to be with his Lord, Saturday May 1, 2010. He was 85.

Born in Chicago, Ill., he resided in Medford Lakes for two years, moving there from Leisuretowne in Southampton. He formerly lived in Cinnaminson for 45 years, moving there from Milwaukee, Wis.

Mr. Adison was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was a product manager for RCA Broadcasting in Camden, where he worked for more than 25 years until his retirement in 1987.

He was the husband of the late Harriet E. (Peterson) Adison. John was the loving father of Paul J. Adison and his wife, Marge, of Medford Lakes, Karen A. Luce and her husband, David, of Downers Grove, Ill., and Ruth A. Jaffe and her husband, Matthew, of Huntingdon Valley, Pa. He also is survived by his grandchildren, Jeremey Luce, Amy Drost, Seth Jaffe, Linnea Jaffe and Rachel Jaffe; and his great-grandson, Cody Drost.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, where a funeral service will be held at noon. Interment will follow at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, North Hanover Township.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1542, Medford, NJ 08055.
