Lewis A. Anderson, 49, died at the family home in Crosbyton on Thursday, Nov. 12. Funeral services were held at the Assembly of God Church with Rev. Joe H. Harper and Rev. Throckmorton officiating. He was buried in the Crosbyton cemetery with Curry Funeral Home in charge.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Alma Joyce, his stepmother, Mrs. J.A. Anderson of Teague, Texas, three sisters, Mrs. N.C. Hallett, Teague; Mrs. John Ratcliff, Houston; and Mrs. F.F. Francis of Freeport.
Pallbearers were: J.A. Griffin, R.L. Waller, C.I. Sieber, Ernest Smith, Robert Meek, and Ernest Wallace.
Honorary pallbearers: J.E. Collier, O.C. Moyer, John Harvey, F.M. Brixey, Lawrence Cartwright and Gordon Tyler.
Those having charge of flowers were: Billy Hensley, Dorthy Hensley, Dora Lou Waller, Pearl Stanton, Dorothy Bents, Dollie Mae Swindell, Ruth Eaps, and Thelma Warren.
