Sarah Marie Rebecca, 27, of Woodway, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, in Waco. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the St. Jerome Catholic Church, 9820 Chapel Road, Hewitt, with Father Rakshaganathan Selvaras as the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.

Sarah was born in Washington, D.C., to George and Mary (Bellew) Rebecca. She lived in Gaithersburg, Md., Newton, Mass., Atlanta, Ga., and Crown Point, Ind., before moving with her family to Waco. She attended the Vanguard School in Waco where she was the state champion in cross country. Sarah graduated from Riecher Catholic High School in Waco, Class of 1997. She attended Texas A&M University and was currently a student at McLennan Community College.

She is survived by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. George Rebecca, of Woodway; brothers, George Rebecca, of Dallas and Anthony Rebecca, of Waco; and sisters, Rachel Rebecca, of San Antonio, Gabrielle Rebecca, of Waco, and Mary E. Rebecca, of Scottsdale, Ariz.
