Waymon Keith Gentry, 31, of Robinson, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2005 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park.
Waymon was born in Waco, Texas, to Waymon E. and Glenda Lathern Gentry. He married Darlene Doskocil on April 10, 1999, in Robinson. His life was a blessing to all who knew him as a son, brother, husband, father, grandson, nephew, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his sons, Chase, Cody, and Cade, all of Robinson; parents, Waymon and Glenda Gentry, of Robinson; sisters, Donna Collins and husband, Mark, of Robinson and Michelle Weyant and husband, Paul, of Robinson; maternal grandmother, Rosalie Lathern, of Rockdale; paternal grandparents, Ruth Belk, of Robinson and Archie Gentry, of Rosebud; mother-in-law, Judy Doskocil, of Robinson; sisters-in-law, Shelley Schmidt and husband, John, of Temple, and Gayle Krall and husband, Jake, of Lorena; nieces, Ashley, Alayna, and Addalyn; nephews, Bryce, Bret, Tyson, Jared, Brandon, Bradly, and Jackson; and many aunts, uncles, and friends.

On Feb 8, 2006, in Waco, Texas, a jury of eight women and four men found Darlene Doskocil Gentry, a 32-year-old registered nurse and the mother of three small boys, guilty of murdering her husband, Waymon, a 31-year old engineering assistant at the Brazos Electric Coop, as he slept at their home in Robinson, more than a year ago.
