Juliet Ann VanMeter Hobson - Born Oct. 18, 1820 in Bowling Green. She was the daughter of Jacob and Martha Usher VanMeter. Married Nov. 23, 1836 to Atwood Gaines Hobson. The following children were born to their marriage; Lucy Usher, Mary Eliza (Mollie), Ellen Francis, William Edward, Jonathan H., Joseph VanMeter, and George Atwood. She was widowed in 1899 and continued to live at Riverview until her death on Feb. 28, 1904. Her remains are buried in the Fairview Cemetery.
