Passed away at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, June 25th at the age of 89 years. Survived by his beloved wife Annie of 48 years; three children, daughter Beverly (Cam) Gilbert; sons Robert (Janice), and David (Terry); nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son James and one grandchild.
Born in a sod house north of Loverna, Sask., in the Kindersley area, Carl was a farmer and a pioneer of water well drilling on the Sask./Alta. border for 66 years. He loved to witch with his willow. You can view his refurbished horse-drawn well machine at the Irricana Museum.
Carl said: "I've had a good life"
Funeral Services were held in Marengo, Saskatchewan June 28, 2003.
