Death of Mrs George Bailey
The death of Mrs. George Bailey occurred at her home in Auburn Heights, Thursday evening, March 17, the cause of her death being facial crys--------.
Grace Bailey came to Phillips county with her father and mother while a mere girl and has resided in the village of Phillipsburg most of her life and her friends were numbered by her acquaintances. Grace was united in marriage with George Bailey in 1884, and to this union four sons were born, three of whom, Hugh, Tom and Dan survive their mother. An infant son, born Thursday and who lived but a few hours was buried in the mother's arms.
Besides her husband and three sons, Mrs. Bailey leaves to mourn her death, a father and two sisters, Miss Bertha Bailey and Mrs Bert Clark. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the sorrowing ones in this dark hour of trouble.
The funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at 2: o'clock, Rev. Gillett having charge. The Odd Fellows attended the funeral in uniform. The remains were laid to rest in Fairview cemetery.
