Homer attended country school until the 8th grade, when he began farming. Homer continued to farm until his retirement, working for other farmers as well as himself. Homer enjoyed playing bingo and bowling.
Homer died on Sunday, March 22, 2009 in Ortonville, MN at Northridge Residence having lived to reach the age of 99 years.
Homer is survived by 2 brothers: Edward and Harold; 3 sisters: Deloris, Hazel, and Muriel Olson; nieces: Ethel, Judy, Sherri, and Nancy; and great nieces and nephews.
Homer in preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and five brothers.
