Edward was an ordained Catholic priest who finished on top of his 1929 class at the Dunwoodie Seminary. His sister Mary Miorin was devoted to him. He died at Roasary Hill where he was able to often say Mass in his room.
NY Times reports that on June 10, 1929 commencement ceremonies at Fordham Edward Pryor'25 a seminarian from Dunwoodie was acolyte at Mass along with John A McGowan and John J Manning - all class of 25.
NY Times 27 June 1930 - Edward transferred from Catholic University to St Margaret Mary's Midland Beach -NY times 22 Sept 1932 Father prior reassigned from Margaret Mary's to St John's the Evangelist church in Manhattan. 22 Dec 1934 - Edward moved to be assistant pastor at Church of Loreto, Cold Springs NY
