WILLIAMSPORT SUN GAZETTE, Williamsport, PA, March 22, 1963

Mrs. Ella W. Diehr, 80, of 1405 Walnut Street, Jersey Shore, died in the Jersey Shore Hospital on Thursday, March 21, 1963. She was the widow of Celestine Philip Diehr.

Mrs. Diehr was born Aug. 14, 1882, in Clearfield County, the daughter of George and Clara Shirey Welch.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Jersey Shore.

Surviving are a son, John M. Kline, La Mesa, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Emma Topping, Pasadena, Calif., two brothers, Earl Welch of Butler, and M. F. Welch of Rupert, Idaho; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ruth Mills and Miss Marian Diehr, both of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Kelchner's, 125 North Main Street, Jersey Shore, with the Rev. Donald R. Hurley, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
