GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
I. W. Best passed away at his home in Kerr Addition on December 20, 1925.
He had been a patient at the Clearfield Hospital for many weeks and passed away a short time after being home.
Mr. Best and his family had long been residents of Shiloh, near Woodland, and recently moved to their home in Kerr Addtion.He was a member of the United Brethren church at Shiloh and a Spanish-American war veteran. He will be greatly missed by both friends and relatives.
He is survived by his widow and five children:Ansel, Grier, Sadie, Anna, and Olive.
His father, five sisters and five brothers also survive.
Funeral services were held at his home on Dec. 24th by Rev. McKinney of the United Brethren church of Bigler and Rev. Cruthers of the Clearfield Baptist church. The funeral was in charge of the Spanish-American war veterans
Interment at the McNaul cemetery, Curwensville with military honors
