Clyde ‘Peanut' Aguirre September 27, 1930 - April 21, 2005 passed away in Carson City, NV.
Mr. Aguirre, a former resident of Madera, CA, graduated from Madera High school in 1948, where he excelled in football. He served in the Air Force in Korea, was a Madera County sheriff, served as chief of police in Mendota, CA, and retired from the Nevada Dept. of Corrections as a sergeant. He was a Clamper and charter member of Carson City Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife and lifelong companion Clara Jones Aguirre; daughters, Cherie Scott of Stagecoach, Babette Gilbert of Carson City, Denise Agrava and Jacqueline Aguirre, both of Fresno; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Leonard Aguirre and sister Connie Dedmon, both of Madera.
