|Birth: ||Apr. 28, 1788|
Littleberry was the last son of James and Frances Turner of Sussex County,VA, married in that same county to Mary Ann Wynne on April 3, 1815. The following were their children: James, born 1827, Monroe, born 1816, Robertie C., born 1819 and Martha Ann, born 1921. Later two young girls were lost by death.
Littleberry and a neighbor, Dennis Wheelhouse both left Virginia along with several other families and headed to Bedford County, TN. Dennis Wheelhouse had a baby son born May 23, 1833 and it was when this baby was six months old in Novermber, that they began the journey to Tennessee, which would take them six months by oxcart.
They stopped their journey at the edge of Rutherford County and spent the night near Cresent, as there was a spring there. The next day, they finished their journey and settled in the ninth district of Bedford County near where Unionville is now. Their new homes were in the Cedar Grove, Longview and Midland area.
Littleberry and his family lived in that area until their death, when they were buried in unmarked graves near the home.
