Services Slated for Mrs. French
Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday for Mrs. Alberta O. French
Of Moran Towers, who died at 11 pm Wednesday in Oil City Hospital.
Born in Ninevah, she was a daughter of Melvin H. and Bessie Dietrich Fry. She lived in Oil City since she was a child. In 1922, she married
William T. French, who died March 14, 1971.
She attended the Church of Nazarene.
Survivors include: four children, William L. Jones of Oil City, Mrs Harold (Betty) Karns of Reno, Harold G. French of Erie and Ronald E. French of Oil City; four sisters, Mrs. Leon (Goldie) Pierce of Flordia, Mrs. Emma Taylor of Sugarcreek and Mrs. Edward (Viola) Madden and Mrs. Elsle Smith of Oil City; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard G. French and two brothers, Wallace and Harry Fye.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm today at the Hutchinson and Morton Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, with Rev. Mayne Munich, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene officiating.
Interment will be in Rockland Cemetery.
