Sheryl Ann (Satterfield) Bickell

Sheryl was born September 5, 1951 in Bakersfield, California to Bert and Netta (Holliday) Satterfield. She passed away October 11, 2009 in Mojave, California with members of her family by her side.

She is survived by her father Bert Satterfield; husband Wayne Bickell; brother Larry (Diana) Satterfield; her two children Chris (Kim) Bickell; Staci (Keith) Storm; grandchildren Akili, Bert, and Christopher Bickell; and Ciera Storm.

Sheryl was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was always a person with great compassion for animals, big and small, so in the last years of her life, she devoted time and money to help in the rescue of homeless animals.

There are no services planned, as the family wishes to have a private memorial. In lieu of flowers they request donations be made to Halfway to Home, 6700 Gibbs St., Mojave, CA 93501. This was her favorite animal rescue charity.

The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for Sheryl over the last few years. She is at peace….
