Benjamin Franklin Mock died Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at his home in Johnstown. he was about 54 years old and was a son of Hugh and Esther Mock, formally of Imlertown, this county. he was married to Malinda Knipple, who with three children survive him. Of his father's family six boys and three girls grew to manhood and womanhood and the following still survive: D. Watson, of Roaring Springs; Hezekiah and George, of Imlertown and Luther, a trck foreman, of Buffalo Mills; Mrs. Cal Kauffman of St. Clairsville and Miss Elizabeth Mock of Altoona; a brother Daniel and a sister Mrs. Griffith, having died some time ago. Mr. Mock was for some time a farmer at the Alms House and was the Alms House Steward for three years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and the funeral service was conducted by Rev. J.J. Minenier.
